Cannabis Inquirer holds itself to the standards of serious journalism applied to a category the mainstream press has historically under-served.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently of our advertising relationships. Advertisers have no influence over story selection, framing, or conclusions.

Sourcing

We identify sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is newsworthy and cannot be obtained otherwise, and only with editor approval.

Transparency

We disclose conflicts of interest. We correct errors promptly. We distinguish clearly between news, analysis, and opinion.

Cannabis Industry Coverage

We cover the cannabis industry and policy as we would any other sector — following the facts, not the narrative any particular stakeholder prefers.
