Idaho Just Legalized the Sale of Consumable Hemp. The Last State in the West to Resist Finally Blinked.
Idaho’s governor signed H0879 on April 2, making the state the last in the interior West to allow hemp products for human ingestion and inhalation — reversing years of policy that banned consumable hemp outright. The catch: a federal definition change in November 2026 could undercut the whole thing before it has time to work.
